Position: Intern Software Design Engineer - Tablet PC Projects - 1 position

Tablet PC is the premier mobile computer from Microsoft. It is revolutionizing the world of computing by making it possible for people to use PCs in new business and social settings. It enables users to input text into applications through a natural handwriting experience or to take rich electronic notes with a digital pen.

The Microsoft Development Center in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, wants to support the local technical talent base by offering an Internship International Vendor position for a talented and driven student programmer. You will work on one of the several challenging Tablet PC projects. This is a full time engagement for at least 3 months and no more than 6 months.

Required qualifications include:

• Enrolled in the last year of the university studying towards a B.Sc. in CS or equivalent degree (e.g. IT, EE, math ... ). Must have a high GPA.
• Strong mathematical, statistical and algorithmic background, rock-solid problem solving skills.
• Ability to code well in C or C++ or C#.
• English proficiency at the reading level and basic written and spoken communication.
• Excellent teamwork skills.

Course background in some machine learning technique is not a must but is a plus.
