Bitgear is a leading Serbian high-technology RnD and product development company located in Belgrade, established 2007.

We are specialists in sensor technology and applications of IoT in industry digitalization. Technologies we work with on a daily basis span from Electronics and Embedded design, Motion recognition with MEMS, Optical sensing, Digital Signal and Image Processing, through Internet-Of-Things platforms, to mobile and web service applications and solutions.

Hardware / Electronics Experienced Engineer
Belgrade
One work position
Needed experience:

  • 2 or more years

Technical qualifications:

  • Altium Designer or another relevant tool as advanced user
  • Experience with complex electronics system, inclusive of rigid-flex, flex, multi layer and similar
  • Understanding of design for manufacturing, test and electromagnetic compatibility
  • Experience with signal integrity simulation and practices
  • MCU development experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English and fully able to document all aspects of work

Job Description:

  • System design and partitioning, choice of components including scoping how to make system work according to the requirements, how to make it fit the form factor, how to partition the design, and related
  • Board design and supervision of integration with mechanics
  • Capable of making the system work – debugging it in a structured and organized way jointly with other team members
  • Working in a smaller dynamical teams, understanding concerns and  requirements of other team members and incorporating them in the design
  • Showing initiative and suggesting solutions, able to add a twist where needed to deliver a better overall result
  • Able to cope with concurrently running projects at different stages of maturity and able to quickly adapt to new tasks, while maintaining the focus and dedication

 

Embedded Software Junior Engineer – (ESWJE)

Needed experience:

  • No work experience required
  • Bitgear hires juniors!

Technical qualifications:

  • C/C++ Coding knowledge
  • Version control development understanding (GIT, SVN)
  • Basic understanding of multiple MCU architectures
  • Basic understanding of Eclipse or another IDE
  • Basic understanding of board interconnect protocols (SPI/I2C/OneWire)
  • Basic understanding of electronic schematic and documentation
  • Fluent in English and fully able to document all aspects of work

Job Description:

  • Junior engineer will be a part of the team in developing, debugging and deploying state of the art electronic devices
  • Candidates are expected to be curious and highly motivated to work with experienced RnD engineers and to learn tricks of the trade.

 

Embedded Software Design Engineer – (ESWDE)

Needed experience:

  • 2+ years of work experience required

Technical qualifications:

  • Advanced C/C++ Coding experience
  • Advanced version control development experience (GIT, SVN)
  • Understanding of electronic schematic, PCB and documentation
  • Competent in code architecture design using bare-metal, RTOS or Linux
  • Linux Kernel understanding
  • Buildroot / Yocto / Debian distribution experience
  • Linux Bash or another shell scripting basics
  • Fluent in English and fully able to document all aspects of work.

Job Description:

  • Design engineer will be a part of the team in developing, debugging and deploying state of the art electronic devices
  • Independent work on system architecture based on already existing specification
  • Cooperating with HW (hardware) engineering team, junior engineers and PM on delivering production-ready code packages
  • Mentoring junior embedded engineers through the practical work
  • Communicating and understanding technical requirements and scope of work.
