UNIX SYSTEM ENGINEER & GUI/PRESENCE ENGINEERS WANTED:
General qualifications: broad knowledge of and experience with computing machinery: communications, networking, system software, drivers, OS internals, crypto, GUI, databases, open source toolchains. People who can write a communication protocol from the scratch, make it secure and on top of it create a sleek and attractive application.
More specific tools for the system engineer: Python, python frameworks like Zope & Twisted, C, FreeBSD (or Linux), apache, MySQL, general crypto + SSL + encrypted file systems, TCP, UDP, socket programming.
Also looking for GUI and presence engineers: Python, Qt, PyQt, windows/mac/linux api & drivers, general crypto + SSL + encrypted file systems, TCP, UDP, P2P intricacies, messaging/presence, VoIP, etc.
Note that this is not a ''web application''. Java or Microsoft tools are not used, and clients are not web browsers.
