Condition Fundamentals of Electrical engineering
The goal To provide principal knowledge in semiconductor physics, operation principles and models of electronic components, as well as in analysis and design of basic amplifier circuits in discrete and integrated technology. To introduce candidates trough laboratory work with real electronic components and modern measurement instruments, as well as with SPICE circuit analysis.
The outcome Achieving basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
Contents of lectures Scope and history of electronics. Semiconductor physics. PN junction. Diode. MOS transistor. Bipolar transistor. Basic amplifier stages with MOS and bipolar transistors. Transistor Current sources and active loads. JFET. JFET current sources and single transistor amplifiers. Differential amplifier. Multistage amplifiers.
