|To introduce students to basic electronic components and their characteristics, and to main types of analog electronic circuits. Analysis and characteristics of electronic circuits.
|Students will acquire basic knowledge on the performance of analog electronic circuits. Students will be able to analyze simpler functional blocks.

|Diode. Bipolar transistor. Basic bipolar transistor amplifier stages. MOS transistor. Basic MOS amplifier stages. Twostage and multistage amplifiers. Current sources, active load. Differential amplifier. Feedback. Output stages. Operational amplifiers. Operational amplifier applications.

|Laboratory exercises: Static characteristics of semiconductors. Basic amplifier stages. Differential amplifier. Negative feedback. Operational amplifier applications. Class B power amplifier.
