The goal • Design of control schemes. • Introducing students to the first and second fault within the IT security system and RCDs. • Valid standards for the design of protective systems against lightning. • Introducing students to the telecommunications installations. • Design of electrical installations using software.
The outcome Students are trained to design low-voltage electrical installations and telecommunications installations for residential, public and commercial buildings.
Contents
Contents of lectures Design of control schemes. Foundation grounding systems and tests of grounding systems. Protective measures in case of failure. Additional protection measures. Protection against atmospheric discharge. Telecommunications installations.
Contents of exercises Design of electrical installations using an advanced software tool. Lab exercises.
