The goal To provide principal knowledge in semiconductor physics, operation principles and models of electronic components, as well as in analysis and design of basic amplifier circuits in discrete and integrated technology.
The outcome To qualify candidates for further education in analog and digital electronics.

Contents of lectures Scope and history of electronics. Semiconductor physics. PN junction. Diode. MOS transistor. Bipolar transistor. Single-Transistor amplifiers. Current mirrors and active loads. Differential amplifiers. Multistage amplifiers.
Contents of exercises Examples of analysis and synthesis of basic and complex electronic circuits.
