The goal • Design of complex relay control schemes. • Introducing students to the IT security system and RCDs. • The physics and characteristics of thunder and protective systems against lightning. • Introducing students to the basic telecommunications installations. • Design of electrical installations with ACAD.
The outcome Students are trained to design low-voltage electrical installations and telecommunications installations for residential, public and commercial buildings.
Contents
Contents of lectures Design of relay control schemes. Foundation grounding systems. Protective measures in case of failure. Additional protection measure (use of RCDs). Protection of buildings against atmospheric discharge. Telecommunications installations (installation of telephone circuits, installation of distribution of broadcast programs, intercom installation and electronic communication networks).
Contents of exercises Design of electrical installations using an advanced software tool. Lab exercises.
