The outcome Training of students to update and expand computers with standard and application-specific hardware. Training of students to use operating system tools and services in order to control computer resources.

Power supply. Motherboards and buses. Chip sets. Interrupts, DMA and U / I ports, RS232, USB, and Fire wire. Windows, Linux and RT Linux. Operating system services. Networks.
Contents of exercises BIOS, configuration, updating. Memory types, conflict resolution. ATA/IDE interface, other standards. Hard and optical disks, data formats. Audio/video hardware, specifications. Monitor selection and configuration. Operating system services applications. Connection to local network and Internet. Testing and performance evaluation. Benchmarks.
