      The goal Introduce students to the basic concepts of computer - aided design in power engineering. Introduce students to the basic concepts of project management. Performing the whole procedure of design of electrical part of transmission lines, substations and structures.
      The outcome The following learning outcomes of the course will be realized: Realization of the basic concepts of computer - aided design in power engineering. Realization of the basic concepts of project management. Making the whole procedure of design of electrical part of transmission lines, substations and structures.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures The basic concepts of design. The forming of contract and project task. General documentation. Modeling and simulations. Selection and application of software tools. The project analysis using MS Project. The example of the concrete power engineering structure.
      Contents of exercises The complete procedure of designing of electrical part of concrete power engineering structure (transmission lines, substations and structures).
