      The outcome The students will have theoretical knowledge of selected topics of linear algebra and will be able to use ideas and methods of linear algebra in applications and research in electrical engineering and computer science.

      Contents of lectures Vector spaces, basis, isomorphism, subspaces. Linear operators, kernel, defect, rank. Eigenvalues, eigenvectors. Invariant subspaces. Unitary spaces. Linear operators on unitary spaces. Functionals on vector spaces. Jordan canonical matrix.
