Course specification
Course title Modern Internet Routing Architecture
Acronym 19M034AI
Study programme Electrical Engineering and Computing
Module
Type of study master academic studies
Lecturer (for classes)
Lecturer/Associate (for practice)
Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
ESPB 6.0 Status elective
Condition None
The goal The course aims to introduce students to the concepts of the modern internet and its architecture, as well as modern routing protocols in IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
The outcome The students will acquire basic knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, and MPLS protocol stack, as well as the ability to implement, analyze, and optimize developed solutions and routing protocols. They will acquire the skills to design modern communications networks and configure implemented solutions using a Cisco routers.
