    The goal This course is designed to supplement primarily to students in acquiring a more through knowledge and proficiency in analytical and applied mechanics.
    The outcome Ability to calculate and dimension simple constructions. Able to solve problems related to the mechanical calculation of the overhead power lines in real conditions of exploitation. Use of acquired knowledge in other subjects.

    Contents of lectures Basic axiom statics. Static equilibrium conditions. Mechanical calculation of overhead power line. Influence of additional load due to ice and wind on the mechanical calculation of ovethead power lines. Mechanical properties of materials. Axial stresses. Bending. Torsion. Spinning. Basic laws of the dynamics of the material point and body.
