    The goal Introcuction to main electrical power system planning concepts. Engineering economy. Events, probability and spinning reserve concepts. Steady state security concept. Programming and calculations in EXCEL. Deregulated power system planning.
    The outcome Mastering planning, as a method of plan generation and search, according to the pre-defined criterion. The criterion setting, in the deterministic and probabilistic domains. Programming in EXCEL with sensitivity studies. Broder picture of the power system (renewables and markets). Priorities: security, economy, etc.
