    The outcome Acquiring knowledge in physics at an introductory level by employing methods of mathematical analysis.

    Contents of lectures Kinematics. Newton’s laws of motion. Gravitational force. Friction. Work, energy and power. Center of mass. Motion of bodies with variable mass. Elastic and inelastic collisions. Moment of inertia. Momentum equation. Linear harmonic oscillator. Damped oscillations. Forced vibrations. Waves. The wave equation. Energy of waves. Standing waves. Intensity of sound. Doppler effect.
