during or after listening of the course: "Power Transformers" |
| The goal |
The project includes power transformer iterative design procedure for determining the basic dimensions and the characteristic, size, thermal calculation and basic technical drawing. The aim is to find power transformer (or reactor) design with a minimum consumption of material and optimal characteristics in terms of losses in the nominal operation. |
| The outcome |
Because the aim of the project is to find the connection between constructional parameters and operational characteristics of transformers (or reactors), students are geathering necessery knowledge for proper selection, purchase and exploitation of power transformers which is needed for wide range of electrical engineering jobs. |
