    The goal Enable basic knowledge of the sources of the nonionizing and ionizing radiation. Introducing students with the principles of the interaction of the ionizing radiation with materials and electronic components and devices; Introducing students with the protection regulations of the electronic components and devices.
    The outcome Knowledge of possible sources of damages or disturbances and principles of protection of electronic components against electromagnetic contamination from urban environment. Establishing the compatibility of electronic devices depending on radiation characteristics of working environment.
    Contents of lectures The physics and the effects of the interaction of the nonionizing and ionizing radiation with the electronic component and devices. Methods of protection of electronic component and devices of electromagnetic and ionizing radiation. Regulations and standards of protection of electronic component and devices of electromagnetic and ionizing radiation.
