The goal Introducing students to the basic software tools needed to solve various problems in the later years of study, Matlab, Simulink, LabView.
The outcome Students will be able to use software packages Matlab, Simulink and LabView to solve various engineering problems (optimization, analysis of continuous and discrete signals and systems, digital signal processing, automatic control, etc).
    Contents
Contents of lectures Theoretical basis for understanding the problem statements and adopted methods for which solutions are obtained by aid of software tools.
Contents of exercises Basics of software package Matlab. Analysis of functions defined analytically and numerically. Solving systems of (non)linear equations. Optimization of functions with one or multiple parameters. Application of Discrete and Fast Fourier Transform for spectral analysis. Simulink and systems analysis in Simulink. Software package LabView and its applications.
