      The goal Introduce basic concepts of engineering electromagnetics required for RF and microwave engineering, fast digital-signal interconnects, wireless systems, optoelectronics, solid-state physics, and electromagnetic compatibility.
      The outcome Students will gain skills to identify, formulate, and solve basic engineering problems requiring knowledge of electromagnetics, and to understand the principles of operation of typical devices and systems based on electromagnetic principles.
