The goal Introducing students to the possibilities and perspectives of measuring nonelectrical quantities by performing electrical methods. Nonelectrical to electrical quantities transducers. Application of transducers in the measurement and control circuits.
The outcome Qualifying students for use and apply transducers in various branches of science, technology and industry.
Contents of lectures The significance of electrical measurements of non-electrical quantities. Transducers - resistive, termoresistive, thermistors, thermoelectric, capacitive, inductive, inductiion, magneto elastic, piezoelectric, piezorezistive, photoelectric and optoelectronic. Measuring interfaces. Applications.
Contents of exercises Demonstration and operation of the existing measuring devices. Practical implementation of simple measuring systems, depending on the available financial resources. Developing software for measurement control systems.
