Course specification
Course title Electric Circuit Theory
Acronym IR3TEK
Study programme Electrical Engineering and Computing
Module Computer Engineering and Informatics
Type of study bachelor academic studies
Lecturer (for classes)
Lecturer/Associate (for practice)
Lecturer/Associate (for OTC)
ESPB 6.0 Status elective
Condition None.
The goal Cover the fundamentals of electric circuit theory from the viewpoint of electrical engineers and scientists. Provide the basis for analysis of models of electrical systems and devices, which are based on electric circuits. Introduce analog signal processing with electric circuits.
The outcome Understand basic concepts and gain insight into physical processes described by electric circuits and the corresponding mathematical models. Solve linear circuits in the time and frequency domain. Identify, formulate and model problems, and find engineering solutions based on a circuit approach, in various fields of electrical engineering.
