        The goal Applicants specialize in the study of phenomena in the study of complex grounding systems of power plants and networks in normal and emergency conditions. Analyses include phenomena that occur during normal industrial frequencies and those resulting from lightning.
        The outcome Applicants are qualified to use modern methods of theoretical and experimental assessment characteristics of complex grounding system, for its design and practical implementation.
        Contents
        Contents of lectures Earthing and grounding. Electric shock. Characteristic values of grounding system. Regulations. The current distribution in the grounding system. Calculation methods for grounding systems. Grounding of overhead lines towers. Computer modeling methods for grounding and grounding systems.
        Contents of exercises Lectures combined with the implementation of a software package for the analysis of grounding systems.
