        Condition Passed the examination - Speech Signal Processing, or at least one published work in the field of speech signal processing.
        The goal The goal of this course is to introduce modern research topics in robust speech signal processing that can be an inspiration for their own research.
        The outcome Creating a background for the research required for the doctoral dissertation.
        Contents
        Contents of lectures Variability in speech, robust estimation of speech features, separation of the glottal excitation-vocal tract, Fo robust detection, processing of degraded speech, environmental robustness, multimicrophones systems, the compensation of communication channel, the conversion of speech, robust speech recognition, speaker normalization, robustness and naturalness of man-machine communication.
        Contents of exercises The application of various software tools in the speech signal processing and development of adopted theoretical and practical knowledge through seminars and/or projects.
