        The goal Provide students with characteristics and testing methods of biomaterials, and their applications for bioimplants in medicine and dentistry.
        The outcome Po završetku ovog kursa studenti bi trebalo da umeju da: - Odaberu metode karakterizacije biomaterijala - Odaberu biomaterijale i bioimplantate u medicini i stomatologiji
        Contents of lectures Introduction. Interaction of organism and biomaterials. Characteristics and methods of characterization of biomaterials (structural, mechanical, physical, chemical, biochemical). Engineering of general and special characteristics of biomaterials (metals, ceramics, polymers, composites, bioderivatives). Selection of biomaterials for construction of bioimplants in medicine and dentistry.
