      The goal Deeper understanding of classical electromagnetics. Introducing integral and differential equations of electromagnetic fields. Learning advanced mathematical techniques used in electromagnetic field analysis.
      The outcome To train students for analytical solving and for developing mathematical models suitable for numerical solving of complex electromagnetic problems.

      Contents of lectures Time-varying and time-harmonic electromagnetic fields. Electrical properties of a matter. Wave equation and its solutions. Wave propagation. Potentials. Multipole expansion. Electromagnetic theorems and principles. Guided waves and cavities. Radiation and scattering. Integral and differential equations of electromagnetic field. Green’s functions.
