    The goal Mastering advanced knowledge of radiation applications in medicine.
    The outcome Detailed knowledge of the operation principles and characteristics of devices in medical radiography, nuclear medicine and radiation therapy. Ability to optimize diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures that use radiation. Familiarity with tomographic image reconstruction algorithms.

    Contents of lectures Modern medical imaging modalities. Computerized and digital radiography. Mammography. Fluoroscopy. X-ray computed tomography (CT scanner). Radiopharmaceuticals. Gamma camera. Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT and PET). Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Quantitative expression of medical image quality. Tomographic image reconstruction. Radiation therapy.
