The goal Introducing principles and basics of design: power supply and power distribution, elements of SCADA systems (using general industrial PLC) and building management systems, protection electrical installations, designing of electrical installations in explosion hazardous areas. Training students to gain the necessary breadth of engineering jobs in complex public and industrial facilities.
The outcome Students trained to start working in the field of design and build electrical installations in complex public and industrial facilities.
Contents of lectures Short-circuit currents. Stan-by and UPS.Photovoltaic systems.Hybrid power supply.Vehicles.Power quality (voltage drop, harmonics, reactive power compensation, flickers, magnetic asymmetry).SCADA systems.Fire protection systems.Static electricity.Electrical corrosion.Magnetic shielding.
