      The goal Introduction to the specific features of methods and instrumentation intended for clinical and laboratory electrophysiological measurements.
      The outcome Independent implementation of an individual project and application of acquired theoretical and practical knowledge in clinical practice, as well as in scientific research in the field of clinical and laboratory electrophysiology.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Electrophysiological signals (deterministic and stochastic; frequency and amplitude characteristics of signals). Characteristics of signal acquisition systems for signals originating from peripheral nerves, muscles, the heart, and the brain. Signal conditioning (analog and digital). Acquisition using software-designed instrumentation.
      Contents of exercises An individual project involving the measurement and processing of electrophysiological signals in the laboratory.
