    The goal Sociology provides students with basic knowledge on a number of basic categories and concepts such as science and scientific laws, basic methodology of sociological research, the creation and development of thought about society, etc.. The aim of the course is that students realize and understand the basic sociological concepts and to understand their application and use in everyday life.
    The outcome Based on the studies of sociology students will be able to understand basic categories, concepts, and processes that take place in modern society. The insights are gained, students will be able to effectively use primarily in sociological empirical and theoretical research
