      The goal The course is aimed at improving the existing language knowledge of Master students and enhancing all four language skills required at higher levels of spoken and written English in a variety of professional situations with emphasis on English for Master Studies in Electrical Engineering and Computing.
      The outcome Upon the completion of this module Master students should be able to: describe approaches to data collection, present a paper at a conference; make a written application for funding; write for publications (SCI journals), describe and report electrical engineering and computer science problems, describe and interpret different graphs.

      Contents of lectures English for Master Studies in Electrical Engineering and Computing develops the communication skills and specialist English language knowledge of electrical engineering and software engineering students, enabling them to communicate more confidently and effectively in a variety of professional situations.
      Contents of exercises A summary of a scientific procedure, a summary of a researcher's results, extracts from an early draft of a SCI paper, a table of experimental data in electrical engineering and computing, a cover letter to a scientific journal, preparing a poster presentation in the domain of electrical engineering and computing.
