    The goal Students are introduced with characteristic industrial applications of drives, methods of analysis, integration of necessary equipment, parameterization, commissioning and supervision.
    The outcome Knowledge of present state of the art and modern solutions in the field of electrical drives and controlled electrical drives. Overview of actual development directions in the field. Selection of optimal structure in the defined project conditions. Selection of possible solutions and equipment for specific application of electrical drives.

    Contents of lectures Mech.-shaft sensorless operation.En.efficiency.Doubly fed IM drive.High-power drives.Multi-phase controlled drive.Current-source converters.MV frequency converters.Control syst.with PLC,app.of comm.protocols.Electrical drives and power converters in cyber-physical systems.Predictive control of drives.Virtual industry - HIL(hardware in the loop) and DIL(drive in the loop).Safety.En.storage
    Contents of exercises Integration of electrical drive into the PLC based control system. Comm.protocols. Scalar, vector (decoupling of torque and flux control, flux acquisition) and DTC.control methods and structures. Shaft sensorless operation and operation without process feedback sensors. Realization of HIL and DIL systems.
