    The goal Introducing students to the effects of the mass use of compact fluorescent lamps and the use of last generation of fluorescent lamps, HPS and MH lamps, electronic ballasts, energy efficient luminaires and devices for light control.
    The outcome Students trained to apply energy efficient systems designing new or reconstructed indoor and outdoor lighting installations.

    Contents of lectures Relevant characteristics of energy efficient light sources, control gear, luminaires and devices for light control used in indoor and outdoor lighting.
    Contents of exercises Visits to locations where energy efficient lighting systems are installed.
