      The goal To describe the ways in which multimedia information is captured, processed, and rendered, to introduce multimedia quality of service (QoS), multimedia operating systems and media servers, to analyse the ways in which multimedia data is transmitted across networks, application of multimedia in e-learning tools, advanced HCI and computer games.
      The outcome The ability to: describe and realize different multimedia tools and the way in which they are used; analyse the structure of the tools and constraints imposed by the adoption of various QoS schemes; compare and contrast different network protocols; to describe mechanisms for providing QoS guarantees; to apply multimedia in e-learning tools, advanced HCI and computer games.
