GeoNetSee project awarded the Flagship 2025 certificate
Project GeoNetSee – "An AI/IoT-based system of GEOsensor NETworks for real-time monitoring of unstable terrain and artificial structures" – has been officially awarded the Flagship 2025 certificate by the Priority Area 7: Knowledge Society of the Danube Region Strategy. The award ceremony took place during 29th PA7 Steering Group Meeting in Bratislava, Slovakia. This recognition highlights the project's significance for improving safety, resilience, and quality of life in the Danube Region through innovation, collaboration, and advanced geospatial technologies.
The GeoNetSee project is financed by Interreg Danube Region Programme and aims to enhance deformation monitoring in the Danube region by integrating smart sensors, AI and IoT technology, and to foster collaboration through the creation of Danube Collaborative Center (DCC).
