      The goal Introduce techniques for designing processor and software tools for its graphical simulators.
      The outcome By the end of this course, students will be able to: design a processor; develop tools to be used for the realization of a processor’s graphical simulator.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Processor. CISC architecture. Instruction execution phases. Organization. Processing unit with direct connections and one, two and three internal buses. Control unit - hardwired and microprogrammed with various forms of signals coding. Simulator. Survey. Features. Visual simulation. Simulator structure. Display of signals and states. Switching circuits simulation. Realisation of assembly language.
