    The goal Supplement to the course Fundamentals of electrical engineering 1 (FEE1). Identification of complex concepts and assisting students in comprehending them. Elaboration of mathematical background and introduction of additional examples. Extending the scope of FEE1. Basics of numerical solutions of fields and introduction of additional circuit elements (two-port networks and controlled generators).
    The outcome Mastering techniques for solving problems which represent actual problems of the engineering practice.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Coordinate systems. Vector algebra. Fundamental integrals. Solving of electrostatic problems. Computer simulation of electrostatic problems. Solution of problems of steady-state current fields and circuits. Circuit topology. Practical examples. Two-port networks. Controlled generators. Nonlinear elements. Circuits with capacitors.
    Contents of exercises Computer-aided simulations of electrostatic fields and steady-state circuits.
