      The goal Understanding the process of the infrared radiation of natural objects, detection and interpretation of infrared radiation detected objects. The application of new knowledge in the industy and medicine
      The outcome The application of knowledge in the practical applications of thermal sensors and thermal image processing, individual design and maintenance of thermal devices and systems.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Point target and surface target, infrared radiation of a typical target, background infrared radiation, the spectral scene contrast. Primary and secondary optics, detectors, cooler and electronics. Eestimate the spectral transmittance and the spectral radiance of atmosphere using MODTRAN computer program. Detectors in infrared spectral range, space and thermal resolution.
      Contents of exercises Application of software tools in analysis of thermovision system. MATLAB examples of calculation of space distribution of temperature. Basic principles of analysis of thermal images.
