      The goal Introduction to the basic concepts of Energy with special accent on renewables, sustainability and substitution. Feasibility study of wind power assessment.
      The outcome Mastering energy transformations and state-of-the-art technologies for the energy end-use. This course provides with the economic motivation for deciding between versatile renewable technologies. Broader picture on the end-use electrical power substitution possibilities, environment, economy and sustainability of the described concepts.
      Contents of lectures Renewables and non-renewables.Exergy and anergy. Coal, oil and gas. Technologies, enrichment and refinment. Gasseous and liquid hydrocarbons. Natural gas. Kyoto protocol.
