    The goal Gaining of higher level of knowledge about the technology of testing of electrical machines, converters and drives predominantly performed in industrial conditions or in the field, with the goal of diagnostics or verification of parameters of electrical machines and transformers, according to current standards. Basic skils in digital control of power converters and motion control systems.
    The outcome Proficiency in complex testing techniques, especially with the use of complex and sophisticated devices for measurements in the field or in laboratory.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Diagnostic testing in the field. Acceptance tests, periodic tests and post-accidental tests. Application of Drive in the loop for testing of drive performance in real-world conditions.Practical skills in digital signal acquisition systems.
    Contents of exercises Laboratory exercises: Selection of two out of four elective blocks. Performing of complex testing procedures on laboratory models and in the field, optionally: MINEL factory, hydro power plants, thermal power plants, production and overhaul companies. Testing on drive in the loop laboratory setup.
