        The goal Introducing students to the problems and challenges imaging infrared systems and importance infrared imaging data in the modern society. Emphasizing the importance of technical aspects of the profession and the impact of new hardware and software products on the new imaging infrared.
        The outcome Students will be able to identify significant trends in the imaging infrared (IIR) understand the contribution of some scientists in this field, estimate date from image, understand of a new image infrader devices and systems.
        Contents
        Contents of lectures Infrared radiation typical target, background radiation, the spectral contrast of the scene. Primary and secondary optics, detectors. Evaluation of spectral transmittance and spectral radijanse atmosphere using MODTRAN computer program. The sensitivity of the detector, the spatial and thermal resolution. Interpretation and processing of infrared images scene.
