      The outcome Provide students with the ability to understand power definition in the harmonics presence. Make students capable to apply methods for power factor correction in the harmonics presence.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Power definition under non-sinusoidal and unbalanced conditions. Active and non-active current and power components.Power factor correction by using passive elements. Active filters for power factor correction. Control methods for optimal non-active and reactive power compensation.
      Contents of exercises Individual work with students during project creation. Computer simulations and laboratory experiments.
