      The goal Considering problems of organization and implementation of mobile radio systems. The candidate needs to master the principles of the design and optimisation of modern mobile radio systems.
      The outcome After completing the course, student should know - to analyze the problem in a radio system, - to find and analyze existing solutions, and - to apply modern statistical methods and/or optimisation procedures to solve the problem.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Radio network architectures. Design and optimisation of radio network. Mobility management. Security aspects - authentication and ciphering. Core network architecture, design and dimensioning. Managing QoS. Radio system monitoring and control. Distributed and centralized network management. Implementation of services. Accounting and billing.
