      The goal Detailed knowledge of the physical basis of functioning of different types of spectrometers and detectors of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Introduction to the principles of radiological safety criteria when choosing detectors for monitoring in radiation protection.
      The outcome Training for designing systems to protect population and equipment from ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.

      Contents of lectures Interaction radition with matter, Ionising and non-ionising dosimetric quantities, detestors and spectrometers of ionising radiation. Ambient and individual monitoring. Principles of nuclear and radiation safety.
