Condition |
an ongoing course in Power Transformers |
The goal |
The design of power transformers comprises an iterative procedure for calculation of the main dimensions and parameters, thermal calculation, and main technical drawing, with an aim to obtain a design of power transformer (or choke) with minimal material consumption. The obtained design is checked in FEM software. |
The outcome |
Students will gain the necessary knowledge for the proper design, the right choice, procurement, and exploitation of power transformers. |
