Contents of lectures | Numerical methods for modeling of antennas/scatterers: MoM, FEM, TLM, FDTD, PO, GO, hybrid techniques. Review of software tools: NEC, MiniNEC, SuperNEC, WireZeus, AWAS, OSU code, FEKO, IE3D, HFSS, CST, WIPL - D. Advanced techniques for modeling with focus on wire antennas (dipole, yagi, helicodial), antenna arrays, horn, reflector, and microstrip patch antennas. Matching circuits. Optimization. | |||
