    The goal Introducing students to the basic engineering fields of work and types of activities. Introducing students to existing standards, regulations and legislation. Fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
    The outcome Students will be capable to implement responsible considerations during their professional engagement. They will gain the awareness of the significance of engineering projects, which have to contribute the economical and ecological welfare of the society.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures Enterprise. Feasibility study and cost-effectiveness study (techno-economic analysis). Project and its components. Types of project documentation. Technical control of the project. Design and expert supervision. Construction logbook and construction book. Commissioning of the plant. Technical acceptance. Operating permit. Standards: IEC, ISO, EN, SRPS. Licenses for design and execution of works.
    Contents of exercises Development of project tasks, development of an implementation plan. Techno-economic analysis through examples. Implementation plan, deadlines, interdependencies of activities. Determining the price of the project. Estimation of maintenance costs in the company.
