    The goal Cover the fundamentals of computer-aided design that are used in circuit simulation packages from the viewpoint of electrical engineers and scientists. Introduce the basis for solving circuit models of electrical systems and devices numerically or symbolically in the time or frequency domain. Introduce analog signal processing with electric circuits.
    The outcome Understand basic concepts of computer-aided circuit analysis and the corresponding mathematical algorithms. Solve linear circuits in the time and frequency domain with computer algebra systems.

    Contents of lectures Basic concepts of computer-aided simulation of circuits with contemporary software tools (Matlab Simulink, Symbolic Python). Solving circuits in the time and frequency domain. Solving the state-space equations and finding the circuit response by Modified Nodal Analysis. Application of the Laplace transform for solving circuits. Solving circuits with ideal and lossy transmission lines.
    Contents of exercises Solving practical electric circuit problems by software tools.
