    The goal Acquiring a basic knowledge of the methodology, testing techniques and specific tests of electrical machines and transformers. Standards and recommendations for testing in the development stage, the reception and during the exploitation of electrical machines and transformers.
    The outcome Theoretical knowledge and practical skills through laboratory tests for the preparation, organization and performance testing of electrical machines and transformers in the factory or on site in order to determine or verify their characteristics, detect of defects and selection of optimal usage, or repairs.
    Contents
    Contents of lectures The methodology for testing of electrical machines and transformers. Regulations and standards. Analog and digital methods for measuring of electrical quantities, temperature, speed and torque. Routine and serial testing of transformers and electrical machines. Selection of testing equipment.
    Contents of exercises Laboratory exercises for determination of the characteristics of transformers, asynchronous, synchronous and DC machines.
