      The goal Students gain knowledge of nuclear measurement methods in technological processes as well as techniques of designing the gauge for specific uses.
      The outcome Students are capable to determine the nuclear measurement method for the specific application and to create a gauge.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Transmission methods. Radiography, tomography, methods based on scattering. Emission methods. Absorption methods. Level gauges, thickness, density, flow, humidity, corrosion, material ageing. Designing gauges. Parameters and performance, selection of sources, techniques and systems for detecting, numerical simulation, dynamic analysis, prototyping gauges.
