      The outcome Students are capable of solving power system optimization problems by their own.
      Contents
      Contents of lectures Introduction. Linear, nonlinear, and quadratic programming. Decomposition and relaxation methods. Dynamic, goal, geometric, multicriterial, and combinatorial programming, artificial intelligence methods. Applications on static and dynamic problems in power systems: optimal power flow, optimal investment and operational planning, voltage - reactive optimization problems.
